Girls and Women in Motion (GWIM) was first created in 2018, as a legacy of the KEEPONMOVING T.O. community program, to provide opportunities for girls and women of all ages to engage in all forms of movement while breaking down barriers that hinder them from doing so. GWIM looks to provide an entry point for individuals of all skill and ability levels into sport and physical activity; we strive to provide affordable and accessible programming for East Scarborough, Malvern, and the Durham region. We are for women and girls, by women and girls. GWIM is currently in the process of being registered as a non-profit organization; until then, we operate in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of East Scarborough.
